Ex-king can join ‘nat’lism’ stir: Baidya

CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya on Monday said there are possibilities of him collaborating even with deposed king Gyanendra Shah in his movement for ‘nationalism.’
Addressing a press meet here, Baidya said even Gyanendra can join the movement launched for nationalism, but that he should have “good motives” for it. He warned his party would “strongly retaliate” if the government and the four major parties try to “enforce” the polls by sidelining a political force that emerged through a “people’s war.” Accusing the UCPN (Maoist) of betraying the country, Baidya dismissed possibilities of the CPN-Maoist uniting with the party.
